If this had been a mediocre horror story, Twilight Sparkle would have woken up with a scream and a start, her still-new wings flared and ready to propel her away from whatever danger her body and sleepy mind had conjured. She probably would have also been drenched in cold sweat, and unsure about where she was and if she had really woken up.
In reality, she did nothing of the sort. Twilight stretched languidly in her familiar bed, located in her own bedroom in the upper story of the Po
At the moment, the episode has not come out yet. Though, alicorn Twilight has been something hinted at since season one, and as a writer I am excited to see change and appreciate the possibility of having some clarity on the mythology of Equestria. I highly doubt the show creators would break the friendship of the characters, nor would they make Twilight "Outlive" her friends. Remember who the target audience is: Young, impressionable little girls with dreams of being their own princess in some way. To see a character they are familiar with becoming a princess, not from being related to royalty but instead from her own hard work and diligence
Enough was enough.
Spike angrily stomped along the dusty path towards the Library, with that thought blasting across his mind faster than Rainbow Dash through clouds. Today was the day, he thought to himself, that Twilight does her own dirty work. Today, Spike planned to quit.
Oh, sure, he had thought about it before, back during the Canterlot days. But since the move to the Ponyville Library, Twilight's ungratefulness seemed to bloom swiftly hard work rewarded with unenthused requests for more of the same, nagging any time he wasn't immediately at her beck and call, and never NEVER! a word of thanks. Clearly there wasn't
Look at her / they said as they giggled behind her back
What a freak / with eyes that don't focus
Always last to get it / with everypony waiting for her to catch up
And can you call that English / random words don't make sense
And she tries to tell them she's not dumb
There's something wrong with her tongue
And she knows just as much as you
Come on, see what she can do
Give her a chance!
Teacher's lounge / they've already decided on her fate
All they see / is everything she can't do
Always needs so much help / takes away time from the other foals
Easier to ignore her / at least she can be quiet
But she tries to tell them

The Nameless Unspeakable Ancient Evil raged, fumed, hissed and poured forth it's venom in a frothing torrent of black will and malicious intent.
Spike simply picked up the bell jar in which they had trapped it and gave it a good firm shake.
"Jerk," he said as he placed the bell jar under his arm, carefully avoiding all of the tubing with which they had surreptitiously both enticed and entrapped the demonic being.
Spike arched his back, the strain of carrying all of the rubber hoses still falling through him. Even as he did so
Rainbow Dash yawned and shifted in her seat, her wings twitching with barely contained tension. The Mayor had called Dash into her temporary office in the town granary first thing in the morning, way too early for the sleepy pegasus mare's liking. It did not help that Dash had a very good idea what the Mayor wanted to discuss with her: the yesterday's fiasco, when Ditzy Doo had blown up the Town Hall's turret roof with an errant lightning bolt or two. She did not look forward to it.
"Ms. Dash, the Mayor will see you now."
Dash took a couple of deep breaths and flew across the converted waiting room to the door the Mayor's secretary was hold
